Here are some of the best things to do this month as we wrap up summer!

Whether you are the group planner or searching for more fun things to do in NYC and have no plans yet, here are some great ideas to add to your list before summer ends!

The U.S. Open is one of New York's most anticipated and exhilarating events held every year out in Queens. It is back at full capacity this year. While you are there, make sure to check some of the best restaurants out in Flushing!

Yes, we literally have an event for everything here. People have always looked down and weird upon unicycles, ridiculing riders for how silly they look perched up high above a single wheel. It's time that one-wheel lovers unite and take over the streets of NYC. There will be a day in the Bronx to honor the borough's own unicycle legends, The King Charles Troupe on September 4. Escorted group rides will also happen in Manhattan on September 2, Brooklyn on September 3, and an afternoon of festivities will take place at Grant's Tomb on September 5.

UniFest has something for everyone, from long-time unicycle enthusiasts to first-time thrill-seekers; and from unicycle basketball to scavenger hunts. It's fun, free, and for all ages!

An Upper East Side Japanese restaurant is putting on an event to celebrate the end of summer. The event will be an over-the-top celebration of Japanese culture, and attendees can enjoy the decked-out lantern bar serving Japanese festival snacks as well as Shochu, Sake, and Highball Stands. There will be festival gifts and live traditional Japanese performances.

The September 19th event is located at 339 E 75th Street. Due to COVID regulations, proof of vaccination for those 12 years of age and older will be checked at the door.

You might have heard that the iconic HESTER STREET FAIR lost its lease on its street, where it was created in 2010. It was a MAJOR blow to the vendors and founders of the fair. But now, after over a year of searching for a new spot to reopen, Hester Street Fair is set to return at The Seaport, starting on LABOR DAY WEEKEND. The street fair will be filled with live music, street markets, and more..

5. A new visual installation at One World Trade Center

A brand new immersive visual experience is happening at the One World Trade Center. There will be a series of interactive visual installations, visitors to the One World Observatory will step into a narrative voyage experience exploring the past, present, and future of Lower Manhattan. The stimuli-packed journey comes courtesy of the Montreal-based immersive studio Float 4.
