No pun intended, but EARLY COFFEE AND SANDWICH SHOP really lives up to its name. It is one of Greenpoint's best spots that opens, well, early — opening at 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekends. Early risers like ourselves can enjoy local favorite Partner's Coffee and a variety of delicious in-store-made sandwiches. With bread from Pain D'Avignon. For a NY classic, get the BEC sandwich with soft-scrambled eggs. You can't go wrong.
Another great reason to get up in the early hours of the morning. Odd Fox opens at 7am on weekdays and 9am on weekends. They have a beautiful garden overflowing with luscious vegetation that is rarely used during the early morning hours. It will be you, your coffee, and their garden. Rest assured, this place is known for its strong coffee and espresso drinks. For a snack, try their vegan banana bread in the front case.

Bagel Point is open from 630am every day with fresh, mouthwatering bagels and breakfast sandwiches to fulfill your heart’s desires. Bagel Point also serves fresh Counter Culture Coffee and Harley and Sons teas. If you want to switch things up, try their fresh-squeezed orange juice which pairs perfectly well with a Bagel Point Bagel!
Sweetleaf is one of Greenpoint's most popular coffee shops and opens at 7am during the week and 8am on weekends. Sweetleaf’s Greenpoint location is filled with cute antique street lamps, eclectic furniture, and offers generally good vibes. This coffee shop has quite an extensive beverage menu with cold brews, cortados, and matcha lattes! They also serve homemade pastries with vegan and gluten-free options.
Cafe Grumpy opens at 7am on weekdays and 9am on weekends. Early risers can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and sit on the comfy bench outside to start their morning. Grumpy also serves a variety of coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, and also a favorite Cardamom Rose Latte!
