The work is situated in dialogue with the history and context of a storied campus. His sculpture SHARE embodies a myriad of emotions many of us are currently experiencing. The COMPANION's familiarity soothes just as we all feel the tug of a BFF who is clutched somewhat wantonly. This piece of art relates to how all of us are seeking comfort through friends and family during unprecedented times.

KAWS has created a universal language for anyone who interacts with his instantly recognizable figures”
